About the Trust

A UK charity built on service and trust

Hazrat Fatimatuzzuhura (RA) Trust U.K. has served communities across Bangladesh since 2011, providing resources for education, health and welfare, alongside the Madrasah and Mosque at the heart of community life.

Our purpose, as registered: to advance education and relieve poverty, sickness and distress among people in Bangladesh, and to provide facilities for those in need by reason of youth, age, infirmity, disability or hardship.

Our Work

Where your donation makes a difference

Five programmes, one purpose: meeting immediate need while building something that lasts beyond the moment of giving.

Simple & Transparent

How your donation reaches them

Three steps between your intention and a family's relief, with no guesswork about what happened in between.

Choose & Give

Pick the cause that matters to you and the amount you wish to give. Zakat-eligible causes are marked clearly so you can give with certainty.

We Deliver on the Ground

Funds are directed to our programmes in Bangladesh, where aid is procured and distributed to families who have been verified as in need.

You See the Proof

Our annual accounts are filed with the Charity Commission and published on the public register, so our stewardship can always be checked.

The Third Pillar

Your Zakat is owed, not offered

A fixed share of the wealth you have held this year already belongs to people entitled to receive it. Give it through a registered UK charity working across Bangladesh, and let it reach families in genuine need.

Our Reach

A record of service, openly held

We have worked in the same communities across Bangladesh since 2011, long enough to know what genuinely helps. Everything on this page is a matter of public record, not a claim we ask you to take on trust.

Why Give Through Us

A charity you can verify for yourself

Trust should not rest on a claim on a website. Every statement below can be checked against our entry on the public register maintained by the Charity Commission for England and Wales.

Independently regulated

We are accountable to the Charity Commission under registration number 1142324 and governed by a constitution adopted in 2011.

Accounts filed publicly

Our annual return and accounts are submitted to the Commission and published on the register for anyone to inspect.

Consistent, long-term work

We have served the same communities since 2011, long enough to know what genuinely helps and what does not.

Faith-guided giving

Zakat, Sadaqah, Sadaqah Jariyah and Lillah are applied to eligible causes in line with Islamic principles.

Donor Voices

Supported by givers across the UK

Families and individuals who choose to give through us, year after year.

I wanted my Zakat handled properly, by people who understand the rulings. Knowing the Trust has been registered and filing accounts since 2011 gave me real confidence to give, and to keep giving.

We sponsor a child through the Trust as a family. My children understand that their contribution means another child eats and goes to school. That lesson is worth as much as the donation itself.
Fatima H. Monthly sponsor · Cardiff
A water well felt like the right Sadaqah Jariyah for my late father. The Trust explained exactly how the funds would be used, and answered every question I had before I committed to giving.
Mahmud K. Water well donor · London
I set up a standing order during Ramadan and never cancelled it, because every update told me exactly where the money had gone. That kind of clarity is genuinely rare across this whole sector.
Sarah W. Monthly donor · Bristol
My family is from Sylhet, so I wanted to give somewhere with real roots there rather than a name I did not know. Speaking to a trustee directly was what finally settled the question for me.
Rezaul I. Sadaqah donor · Birmingham
Our mosque collected for the emergency appeal and the Trust returned with photographs and figures within weeks. There were no vague promises at any stage, just a plain account of what was done.
David C. Fundraiser · Manchester
I give my Fidya here each year. It is a modest amount, but it is treated with the same care as a far larger donation, and that is precisely the reason I keep coming back to them.
Aisha B. Fidya donor · Leeds
I am not Muslim, but I have given to the water appeal for three years now. Clean water is clean water. The reporting is a great deal clearer than the large charities I supported before.
Helen M. Water appeal donor · Swansea
What convinced me was being able to look the Trust up on the public register myself and find everything filed and in order. I did not have to take anybody's word for any part of it.
